Hi Alyson,
I received your contact information from Minh Nguyen. My name is Cheryl Cruz and I work for a non-profit agency, Asian American Recovery Services, a program of HealthRIGHT 360 in San Jose. We annually hold a leadership conference for Asian Pacific Islander female youth called “Sister to Sister, Celebrating Asian & Pacific Islander Women of Tomorrow” and our theme is “Rise Up.” It would be awesome if you did a piece on your spoken word. Dear Cheryl,
Thank you so much for thinking of me for this event. I would gladly love to attend and perform, but unfortunately I will still be in Nepal on the date of April 26th. I return to California on May 25th.
